Deborah Harney

Deborah Harney is ROA’s lead counselor. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents and parents with life, school and mental health difficulties. She graduated from the University of Houston in 1985. She has served in the public and private sectors in the Houston metropolitan area for many years. She has dedicated her life’s work to youth and has an uncanny gift for reaching adolescents. Her unassuming manner and positive attitude are disarming and attract students to share their issues with her. She develops working relationships and steadily moves through important issues in their lives.
